History
This is us
I am Jessica and my husband is Ricardo, or Rick, as most know him. Regulars of Urbano are also familiar with his artistic ability, evident in the intricate way that he designs the signs inside the bistro. Although, he has always had a knack for art and lettering, his true calling has always been coffee. Growing up, Rick was always an adrenaline junkie, so it makes sense that he would end up in a coffee business! And me? Well I grew up in South America and always have worked for myself starting a couple of different businesses here and there. Urbano has been the one I have truly put all my passion into though. Everything from the decoration to the menu items breath me and my style. We are both pleased to provide you a home away from home here at Urbano!
Open since 2007
The History starts over 15 years ago, when a roaster was purchased...
How it all started

John Murphy Opened Sierra Cafe
A coffee roaster and our dear friend John Murphy opened Sierra Cafe in Sierra Vista Public Library and later name it Brews Brothers Coffee.
June 2015
We buy Brews Brothers
After some training, John sold us the roaster and passed on the some of his wholesale accounts. This was the beginning of an interesting journey for us. Little did we know we would be able to offer a Bar & Bistro within just a few years!
May 2015
Fuego Kitchen was born
We created a kitchen to make our own baked goods. It was called Fuego Kitchen. But because our location on Ramsey was so small we had to rent a different building.
April 2016
WE RENT a location
Ramsey Rd had the perfect location for us. It wasn’t exactly ready though… it consisted of 4 metal walls. It had been abandoned for a while so we got to work!
May 2018
We start up our own tea line
Tashi Tea is created.
March 2020
